Kittens raised underfoot, not in cages

British Shorthair, British Longhair and Scottish Fold kittens, hand-reared in our living room and ready to meet their forever family.

A cattery you can actually visit

  • House — Raised underfoot — Our kittens grow up in the living room around cooking, television and visitors — not in a separate cattery building.
  • Stethoscope — Three vet visits — Every kitten is examined at least three times before homecoming, with a health certificate dated within 72 hours of travel.
  • CalendarCheck — Twelve weeks, always — We never let a kitten go early. Weeks eight to twelve are when they learn bite inhibition and how to read other cats.
  • LifeBuoy — Support for life — Email or call us about food, behaviour or health at any point in your cat's life. We would rather you ask than guess.

Everything comes with your kitten

  • FileCheck — Full paperwork — Vet health certificate, vaccination record card, and the microchip already registered in your name.
  • Syringe — Vaccines & worming — Age-appropriate FVRCP vaccinations, plus deworming completed at four, six and eight weeks.
  • ShieldCheck — Health guarantee — One year of written cover against congenital and hereditary defects, with a refund or replacement.
  • Package — Starter pack — Their current food, a blanket that smells of their mother and littermates, and a favourite toy.
  • MessageCircle — A settling-in call — We check in a few days after homecoming to work through anything that has come up.
  • Undo2 — Return commitment — If it ever stops working, at any age, we take your cat back rather than see them go to a shelter.

The things we will not do

  • We will not rehome before twelve weeks — However ready a kitten looks, and however keen the buyer is.
  • We will not pair fold to fold — It is the single biggest risk factor for painful skeletal disease in Scottish Folds.
  • We will not ship in cargo — Cabin travel with a nanny costs more. It is the only air option we offer.
  • We will not sell you the wrong kitten — If the kitten you like is not right for your household, we will say so and suggest another.

Deposits and balances

Every payment is receipted by email. We never ask for gift cards or cryptocurrency.

British Shorthair, British Longhair and Scottish Fold kittens for adoption

Choosing where to adopt a kitten matters more than most people expect. A kitten raised in a spare room with minimal handling will take months to become confident with people; one raised underfoot in a busy household arrives already used to noise, visitors and being picked up. That difference lasts a lifetime.

What we do differently

  • Twelve weeks, without exception. Weeks eight to twelve are when a kitten learns bite inhibition and how to read other cats. Leaving early is the most common root cause of behavioural problems later on.
  • Health screening on the parents. We screen for the conditions relevant to each breed, and we never pair two folded-ear Scottish Folds.
  • Honest matching. Some of our kittens suit a busy family with children; some need a calmer home. We will tell you which is which even when it costs us the sale.
  • One inclusive price. $400 covers the kitten, all vaccinations and vet visits to date, deworming, microchipping and registration, the written health guarantee and the starter pack.

Every kitten currently available is listed with full photographs, a temperament summary, their complete health record and their date of birth, so you can see exactly what you are considering before you get in touch.

What families tell us afterwards

We drove six hours to collect our golden shaded boy and it was worth every mile. He came home with a folder — vaccination card, microchip paperwork, a care sheet written specifically for him, and a blanket that smelled like his mother. He slept through the first night. Three months on he is the most relaxed animal I have ever lived with.

— Amara O., Austin, TX

We took the bonded pair and cannot imagine having split them. They sleep in a single knot and groom each other constantly. What sold us was the honesty — we were told plainly which of the two would cope alone if we could only take one, rather than being pushed into buying both.

— Daniel & Priya R., Manchester, UK

I had read all the warnings about fold breeding and came in sceptical. They walked me through the pairing, showed me the mother's straight ears, and sent the vet's joint assessments unprompted. That level of transparency is the reason I adopted here rather than anywhere else.
